currently 82*F and good news looks like ice for us later this year there predicting this seen in picture below.... but ya most of the time after a real hot year we get a lot of snow like clock work to cool the earth off ... so just a heads up!...

i am reading a full blown ice age near 2030.

above normal and heavy snows for us, while being normal to below normal temps for this winter. get your snow removal equipment ready!

i was told any time we have an extra dry summer like this one to expect a hard winter.

you know whats weird about this summer is I haven't been bit by a single mosquitoe.or seen any really..there were tons of little black gnats early spring but that's it around here.i didn't do much night time catfishing this year tho either.

I have Tree Swallow houses. They devour mosquitos all summer, but they left at least a month ago! They must have gone to Brazil for food.

Skeeters out of control while out Crow hunting this AM. Potholes overflowing with standing water in grain fields, farmers a little concerned over field conditions for the harvest. Very warm and extremely humid, even around dawn. Been mowing the lawn twice weekly lately, garden growing like mad. South of I-94 is soaked, North is hit and miss

skeeters just drove us in the house early tonight. the sun's still out and they are biting and flying all over in the sun. must be they got some new blood that lets them stay in the sunshine like tru blood. huge too!

85* with 80% humidity, feel one can drink the air. Skeeters still overwhelming at dawn/dusk/night. Cicadas have been going crazy for a few weeks, maybe there's hope in sight.

I was out picking some ripe maters and got nailed by a few skeeters early this morning .ive got a pond in the backyard and the fish love when the skeeters try to breed in it.fattens those big panfish right up.
