70's after friday for a week at least.

pavers were in my driveway yesterday and i asked if they wait for the hottest of days to work because that's when you see them around here. i asked them how hot is the asphalt and they said 300 degrees. it was still hot last night and would burn your bare feet (ask me how i know) like a hot sand at the beach.

had some rain while salmon fishing.. but it was warm and muggy early this morning.and I take back my no skeeter this summer remark. they are horrid now and at nights I cant even go outdoors around here.

Yeah this summer was phenomenal with skeeters.. Up until about a week ago...

Took the dock out today, it was too hot, should have waited until October...

Cool mornings are making the trees change color already they have not started to drop yet but will soon.. as you can tell fall Is in the air hopefully another 2 months it will be real cold so we can start ice fishing.. if I am wrong and it not two months it will be three.. no big deal.. current temp is 54*f and dropping..

Only hit 79* today, was 80* yesterday and the humidity is high. Still picking Hungarian & Banana peppers on a daily basis, skeeters continue their annoying behavior

I had to break out the ice scraper this morning for the windows...sweet! I always say anytime you can SAFELY ice fish before Christmas in West MI it's a good year. 3 years ago I was on 4" of ice Dec 6th...that's my record...lol.

Picked up a couple kill tags for deer season today, I'm mentally preparing to not ice fish til 2017, so I needed a backup plan. I hope to get on the ice this December, but its hard to bank on anything until January anymore.

I saw some ice falling from the sky today as well, what a beautiful sight. Seems like it was 90 just the other day.
