Just a bad string of luck in the last year fishing......if you remeber I put in a post about my 225 hp merc blowing this fall also......fishing is getting dabf expensive this year. I have not had this much problem in 30 years of fishing. You guy's may want to stay away from me on the ice.....I will proably be the only guy that fall threw now....and I only weigh 205.....I am sure some of you got me beat there. LOL

Man we were just talking about that. I dont even want to image it happening to me. Vex. had a guy dropping everything down the hole last year. To many barley pops, I think.

O yes mud... He was droppin shi8 down the hole left and right... Luckily i have cat like reflexes and was able to retreive them before they were too far gone....

How Big?.....My biggest smallie to date is 6.1 out of the bays......I dont know how many over 5 threw the years though all over the place. I have a bud that has one 7.8 out of a small secret lake in the traverse area where I fish on vacation.  And I know of one caught over 7 out of Skegmog.

that was a small one. Nice fish at 3 pds, but the background made that picture!!!  My biggest smallie to date is 6 pds. Out of good ol skegmog. I wouldnt doubt the next michigan record smallie comes out of one of those lakes/bays up there!!!

vexie.... i can catch 5 pounders every day on the lake i told ya about!!! my biggest on the lakes is 6.4 lbs. 22 inches long, during the spawn up north. now on the river here, a 19- 21 incher is thicker than hell, but only weighs around 3 - 3 1/2 lbs. don't get me started w/ smallies... my fav fish!  we can take this over to fishfinder.
