fishing was good friday & sat morning of tourney but once the weather changed all the fish vanished from the fish finder.
saw a couple of real nice trout get tossed back 4 1/2 & 5 1/2+ Sat. Morning ( couldnt find scale fast enough before he tossed it back down the hole.
He's a walleye only fisherman, I told him walleye or not the first one might have gotten him into the money.
If it nice ( no wind) Im heading back out to hook another big one good luck.

We fished boysen today. We tried on the west side of the sister islands.
Drilled a bunch of holes in 25-32 FOW. Only had 4 flags all day and never iced a fish.
My Brand new showdown sonar unit wouldn't work right, so it's headed back to where it came from in hopes that I'll get a functioning unit in exchange.
We're thinking we need to refine our technique and become more mobile. Any areas we should avoid if we decide to take our 4 wheelers out on the ice next weekend?
