I use one of those big flags that road-workers use.  You can pick them up at most hardware stores.  The material is extremely visible and tough as nails (i use the kind with threads sewn into them).  Just cut them into little flags and attach with the either the existing metal clips or some crazy glue.

I bought a cheap 0.99 flor hunting vest from Walmart & cut it accordingly... (Plastic, Safety Vest)

walmart and dicks usually have them at the beginning of season. ask the clerks, or your local bait shop. the manufature would have them also, ht berkley,etc.. making your own is easiest. the shanty ones on proshop page are a good way for fellow members to find you on the ice!

When it's time to replace mine I'll get them from the Iceshanty.com proshop. Next year I'll get the flag to fasten (somehow) to my DX3000.

I use adhesive backed red felt from the craft section at walmart. The stuff like what you can cut and put under your furniture so it won't scuff. Just fold it over the wire and stick it to itself, holds up well too.

I made my flags from a piece of felt from wal-mart for 35cents. They are green so they really stand out when there is snow on the ice.

For my beaverdams I used red cloth I bought at walmart. Used some contact cement to put them on. Seems to be working fine, though    i might have to get some shanty flags

There aren't any actual flags for tipups in the proshop... only decals for flags.

I use that reflective tape the truck drivers have on their trailers. It's red with reflective white stripes. Any automotive store carries it. What I like about it is it really nice for low light or night fishing, just shine a light on it & you can tell instantly if it's up!
