She's a dream for sure!!  Still use my portables during the early and later part of the season, but this is really nice for extended stays, we usually go for a week at a time up to Mille Lacs in Minnesota, have survived -35 temps as well as +40 as well, shorts, T-shirts and bare feet is the clothing of the day!! Fishes 3 comfortably, 4 in a pinch, I've got 3 holes near the front and 1 to the rear, usually have the Aqua Vu camera down the rear hole so I can watch the front 3 on the 22 inch flat screen!!   :)  She Sits a little high and I may try and lower it closer to the ice to cut the wind down some going under it, sometimes there isn't enough snow to bank it in and my hole tubes get pretty frosty, been trying to find some of that portable swimming pool plastic stuff that you drape a liner inside it, the walls of that stuff are like 1/2 inch thick and I could cut 4 pieces and make skirting for the camper to put on once I'm on the lake. Also recently installed a solar battery charger and am looking at a wind generator that uses a single wire Delco alternator, seems the winds always blowing on Mille Lacs!!   ;D

Have you thought about using some of that green corrugated roofing material that they sell at home centers ?? Not sure if it's wide enough, but you can lap two together! Just a thought!! ;)2 :flex:
My two favorite college football teams are Ohio State and whoever's playing Michigan!!!

Don't reel against the drag!!!

Ex Minnesnowta lad! You can take the lad out of Minnesnowta, but you can't take Minnesnowta out of the lad!!

Or you could make a skirt out of old billbord sings they are made of like ultra heavy duty material and last forever. They can be found on ebay pretty cheap sometimes and are easy to cut and modify.

That might work, I shoulda thought of that as the roof on my back porch over the hot tub is made of that fiberglass corrigated green stuff, really light and pretty solid..   hhmmmmmm Think Menards might have that stuff.....

My Frabil Refuge on the right and my buddies hard side on the left. We keep the hardside out to mark our spot for pike fishing and use the Frabil for running and gunning on those tactical perch strike missions  ;D ;D

Nice shack, but I have questions.

The door opens to the inside and is on the front while towing. Doesn't it freeze shut from the moisture from the road while towing?

Are there holes in the floor? Don't see any in the photo's.

Do you clamp a board to the trailer tongue for a nice step?

Thanks and it looks great!!

i only tow this shack around 6 miles one way to my local lake, once in december, then back home in april....doubles as a summer kitchen/ dog house lol

there are 4 holes in the floor that are boxed out to the ice to eliminate draft

the tongue slides out of a subframe and a mini deck slides into the subframe for a little bit of a landing for wood and such

thanks,  was gonna make a thread of the build but haven't gotten around to it yet
