Last december I threw this shack together in one day. Its 6x8, nothing fancy but wanted something light. Its getting a few reno's right now just to make this winter a little more comfortable. I really miss my 8x10 that I spent a lot of time building but a flood in the spring claimed that shack. :'( but I'm looking forward to next winter because the girlfriend has been wanting a bigger camper so the 18' camper will by my home on the ice next winter and I can't wait :)

That will make an awesome shack! Question...do they allow you to pull in tandem with your boat behind trailer?

To pull tandem in MI the first has to be a 5th wheel or gooseneck. I can see other places being a little more liberal with that.

You can pull in two trailers here in sask but the first one is suppose to be a tandem axel,  bumper/5thwheel/gooseneck it doesn't matter as long as its tandem. But if I'm not mistaken you can also pull two trailers with a single axle in front if its a 5th wheel camper. But I see a lot of people with pulling two small single axel campers, mainly for the Craven Country Jamboree and have not seen anyone get a ticket but things are pretty slack for things like that Craven week. With the small box on my truck I'd be lost come hunting season because I have the box filled with jerry cans and need to haul camper, two trikes and soon my diesel argo project I'm in the process of building. If I couldn't haul both at once it would make for a lot of driving as the one area we head to in norther sask is a 900km one way trip and I would not be happy if I had to make 4 trips to get my stuff there and back

I figured they were a little more liberal up there. That makes things a lot easier

Not sure. It would make sense if the first was at least a tandem. I know it does NOT have to be a 5th wheel. I see camping trailers with a boat behind them all the time on the highway during the summer....

Here in Michigan you better have what they call recreational doubles  or a doubles endorsment.

Here's my set up and I love it. With all the snow we have on the Bay of Green Bay this year the snowmobile is the best way to travel. I just bought the snowmobile this year, it has electric start and reverse SWEEEEET.
This is my 3rd flip shanty in the last few years and it's the one I like the best, well built quality shanty.
It's heavy with all the gear inside so pulling it by hand, not a chance. I do have a Tip Down Shanty I use when the conditions are right.

I was on a bus and just happened to be sitting on a news paper. This guy came up and asked. "Are you reading that ?"
I said  yes, stood up, turned the page and sat back down.

Toofuss, I got the same auger in a 10"

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get those brackets to hold it?

I am looking to do the same on my jet sled.
