Yea, each year they get complaints. My record is 100 in 2 days at the PD. Seems folks over the age of 60 have a problem with it, and folks under the age of 60 don't. (around Bristol anyways).

Nothing you wouldn't see on the beaches...... (of Brazil). I'm trying to get something going in our area, hoping it might catch on. Planting a seed. Trying to spread some sunshine on the lake. I know it makes me smile and feel good. Someone's gotta get the ball rolling.....I'm here to help.

Our house

Door side, gas grill, solar panels, ratchet tie downs, auger hung up on wall for traveling.

Same side view
(Image removed from quote.)

Wind side, just a few of my friends.
(Image removed from quote.)

Other side
(Image removed from quote.)

Inside, there's a lot going on.
(Image removed from quote.)

My side pretty busy
(Image removed from quote.)

My wife's side still busy
(Image removed from quote.)

Sliding table, underwater monitors, fish finder
(Image removed from quote.)

Each year I add on more pics on the outside of the folks on our lake. My plans are to collage the entire house with pics taken over the years and create a "History" of ice fishing on Newfound lake.

There's a few more modifications added to the house this year....

JIGGIN.

JIGGIN,

Love the shack! I especially love the circus posts you guys have! Gonna have to make up there one  of these years and introduce myself!

I remember the day. Doug and I had the doors open until the sun went down and then we closed them and turned on some heat. I would absolutely love to get it back on the ice. Maybe this will be the year it gets out again.

Must be some folks that are afraid it's gonna melt the ice. This old coot would find it entertaining.  ;D

A guy on worthly pond up here in maine put his dump truck through the ice a few winters ago. He has a huge shack with couches and recliners, a bedroom and direct tv. Drove out on the ice in his dump truck one day and she went through. Thank god it was only about 2 feet of water. He had to use a chain saw to cut all the ice out to shore and then pull it out with a buddies skidder. After that one of his buddies spray painted "Ice man" on the back of the truck. He was still using it up untill he sold it, or the bank took it.

That's my kind of shack, nice work. Too bad you can't use them in Colorado.

If they could be used in Colorado there would be so many you wouldn't be able to walk between them.

Hopefully have some more pictures up after this weekend. I bought the rest of the studs and also got some plexi glass for free from a guy my dad works with. 3 sheets of 3'x2'!! SCORE!!! Gonna cut them in have so I can have six windows instead of three gigantic ones!

I already posted once. But I've made a few mods, including a solar charging panel for my batl that runs my lights and fans.

It rained right after I painted the front side so the white's kinda messy.

My fans to keep the heat out of the rafters.

Well its not 100% done still need a folding table and my corner shelf's.  Those go in on Monday. Its got Antlers for coat racks and door handles. 4 Holes 2 Which are going to be used most of the time. 2 Homemade rattle reels. And 12 volt lighting. Pots and pans for cooking. Built this for my daughter. Shes 2 and really wants to go Ice fishing !

Heats up fast and i can push it on snow like a dream Its not heavy at all. Plan on towing with a rope ANd when under way the rope will be run through a Section of pvc That way its less likey to wobble. And reflective flagging/Sign.

Here's my shack... if you can call it that!

Interior photo:

Are you serious? What a crock! That shack is AWESOME- the only complaints that should instigate are "why aren't there more of these shacks like this!!" or "why isn't my shanty as AWESOME as this!"

Trebmaster thats the first shack like that I've seen so far using the shed kit.....Looks like a great idea!.....Hope its solid enough for the highway. If you didn't have far to go it would be even better. Nice work.
