I use Yaktrax chains. I hand haul everything, and never have traction issues on glare ice pulling my gear with the Yaks.
Same here, on my 3rd or 4th season with them. They outlasted the pair of boots I first had them on. Nice that you don't have to worry about taking them off to drive or walk on concrete

I love my Stabilicers. Easy off and on and no rubber parts to break. They grip on the ice better than anything I have tried I guess. They are about as durable also as a guy could ask for. Ice fishing is tough on equipment and I guess I’ve just really had good luck with these even after many years of use.
I have these that slip over my Sorel boot..... IMO Marginally good as not many carbide pins. Which do you own and find most effective on glaze ice?
DanMan no not those. They look almost like a hard rubber sandal with Velcro straps. They have replaceable screws in the bottom. The screw heads are kinda hollowed out and they grab great. A lot of postal workers, railroad workers use them. If you google ice stabilicers they can be found online.
