What's for supper?
« on: Dec 10, 2015, 03:50 PM »
What's everyone eating for supper?

We are having some home made potato soup with bacon. After working in the sleet today, it will hit the spot.

Shrimp Alfredo is what the wife said. That was before she went out to do errands. Could be a take out night though.

Just at a quick fart burger as my son called sizzle steaks when he was kid. Off in a few for an hour drive to attend the grand daughters concert at college.

Second trip to Gr for the day. Made a 2 hour round trip to get my eyes measured for my implants for my cataract surgery. 45 miles each way. I was back home in two hours including the appointment.

It was Gorp tonight. The term coined by our middle child, for a melange of pasta, seared beef strips, green and wax beans, carrots, peppers, onions, some pan sauce all combined in one pot. It's basically a whatever is on hand, can't think of anything else to make for supper type of meal.

Spaghetti with homemade sauce. I'm not a noodle fan but my GF made it, so I can't complain. Beats cooking for myself.
