Nice looking fish guys, well worth dealing with the cold!!!!
Nice bass.... weird how you guys get excited about catching bass through the ice and down here in NY we hate it
Very nice. Definitly worth holding out for the 3:30 blitz. Way to go Keith. and Ed.
Woooooo! Great job guys! Wish I was out there with you... Beautiful fish!
Nice job! Sound like you got some nice ones. That 6.12 must have made your day
seems like the bass are on fire every where i have been killing big bass for 2 weeks congrats those are some fatties
That is weird, what's more weird is your profile picture is you holding a bass lol I will assume you don't mind bass? I'm a bass angler, if other species bite I'm ok with that but prefer bass.
I don't mind the occasional bass it's when it's non stop bass that it gets to be a pain cause then I'm wasting bait because the lakes I fish you can't keep them. Wish we could since they taste better in the winter and it makes no sense to close the season all winter.... but I wish I kept that bass in my picture or caught it during bass season cause it would be on the wall... never weighed or measured it we figure it was in the 8# range. Wasn't thinking at the time but the biggest one I've caught by far and the biggest I've seen in person. Caught it Dec. 31st 2009 in a snow storm lol
I wasn't aware of the bass rule in NY, that's crazy. Thanks for the info 👍 I would also estimate that in the 8+ range. My PB is 9.1 lbs.
Hey Kieth have you ever thought of using circle hooks?I just wonder how many of them bleeders turn in to crayfish food??I have been using circle hooks for pike with good success. I just know how fragile the pike fishery is.I also know it take a long time for a bass to reach 6lbs.Congrats on the fish you put alot of time in!
WTG Ed! Nice Larr
