I went to this spot this morning was walking and there was quite a bit of cracking going on drilled one hole near the first hole drilled by shore was maybe 2 inches of ice if that so I didn't risk walking any further

I found one lake that was slightly over 2.5 near shore. Maybe I should have moved out a bit further. Just didnt wanna take the chance being alone.

Let's just hope the rain doesn't kill all the ice and we can all be out next weekend!!! I took off Friday in hopes of a three day ice fishing weekend. 20 degree days the lakes should freeze up quick

All the lakes have a lake of water over the ice. Were good to go by Wednesday!
