WELL, not paying attention and my post went off into never/never land. I didn't see that WW had posted.  We are going to have to assign "posting" times.

30*

Happy Birthday to Mrs. Eddie.

OS, good to hear the wife is doing well.

IFF, J-Hawks are looking good.

WS, remember those ribs when you fire-up the saw.

Mr. Clean, the F&F contest is still a go from what I hear. Ice looked a little grey yesterday.

Have to take Willow to the vets for shots this morning.

Have a good day...h2l

Good Morning ER's probably high of between 40 & 50 here today. I must have missed the 2nd walleye IW I'll back track later. Marv hope the saw is up to your standards. Eddie stick with Big East teams your bracket will like you. The Badgers snuck up into a tie for first in the big ten. Bud keep them J Hawks away from the Big Ten Teams or the Big East Teams along with a few others. Congrats on your new job but 16 days straight that's when you should set your own wage and position. I hope all treatment people get great results ( My brother still needs a extra prayer or 2 ). WW good luck today on getting your track and future fishing adventures. Working today but have a package coming in a transducer from a IS member to see if this little lowrance X-4 will fire up I think I paid .60 for it. Happy Belated Birthday to TT and Raq.

Good Morning Everyone, Looks like it’s going to be a sunny day today. Stopped watching the news. To depressing. My wife is working today. Got up late today but got home late last night.

Old Goat, thoughts and prayers to your brother.

IFF, Hopefully you get a couple of days off after working 16 days in a row. Good advice about not popping bubble wrap.

Hunts2long, Does Willow get a treat after going to the vets?

WallyWorld, When I was working on the ambulance some of the hockey moms use to tell us how expensive Hockey is especially the Goalie position. Hopefully you get the tracks on and get the boat in the water soon.

Ice Wanderer, Prayers you feel better soon.

Whopper Stopper, Thats good news that your ribs feel better except when you cough, sneeze, hiccup. Did your saw come in? Prayers your wife has a safe trip. Always fun to see what color your truck actually is. I need to get my ears lowered tomorrow or Saturday.

MasonEddie, Happy Birthday to your wife. Are you taking her out to dinner tonight? Some High School bands are incredible. Some kids have real talent.

Tom Turkey, Hope you get the license straightened out. The Rmv is such a pain.

Old Sailor, How is your wife doing? You both are in our prayers.
I hope everyone has a great day today and a safe one. God Bless

Hey all
She's a balmy -8F with -26F wind chill here today.

Went into work Monday & Tuesday and 2 hours on Wednesday morning before being overcome with breathing issues.
Went straight to the ER for them to look me over. I was worried it was due to some kind of cardiac event.
Spent a total of 7 hours there while they did a bunch of tests on me.
They did blood, ultra sounds, EKG's and x-rays. The good news is everything came back negative.
The bad news is they don't know what's causing the issue so they want me to see my family doc and have him look me over.
For some reason my blood pressure was dangerously high. I don't normally have high blood pressure so this was pretty concerning to me. Could have been the meds I'm on so I stopped the new ones and things are better today.
Hope to try and go back in tomorrow.

Good morning Eddie, IW! Good morning Everyone

26 heading into the mid 40's later on, the best part is the winds will be light

Eddie just about time to let the weekend begin  Sounds like a fun time last night

IW hope you can kick the bug  The ribs are much better. I can still feel it but nothing like they were.

Dave hope someone can figure things out  :cookoo:

WW how did your day go ???

OG Thoughts and prayers for your brother, hope everything turns out well for him

I am dropping the wife off at the bus in a bit, then finishing up the s-i-l's trees. She decided to do an extra one so we have 3 in total.

The saw showed up about 3pm yesterday. I put some gas in it and the first pull it fired up. I let it warm up some and then hit the trigger a few times, music to my ears. I have to pick up an air cleaner down the road but all systems are go from what I could tell.

Hope you all have an excellent day  Stay safe.

28* and clear.

Drifter, thoughts are with you. Get well soon.

IW, hope you get well soon also. I think the ice will be going quick this year. The lake came up about 3 inches yesterday and they have been drawing about 6 inches a day. The ice went out of West Stoney and there is a small ice jam just up from the house.

WS, glad up got the saw back and that you are back in business.

Willow did great at the vets, checked out fine and got all her shots.

Have a good day....h2l

Good Morning Everyone, 30 degrees and sunny. My wife is home today so Mr Dickens will be able to go to the lake today.

Hunts2long, Thats good that Willow was good at the vets yesterday. A couple of guys  from church ice fish and they said the ice is starting to go away.

Whopper Stopper, Thats great news your ribs are feeling better. That’s good your saw came in and is working well. Be careful taking down the last 3 trees.

Ice Wanderer, How is your wife feeling? Hope you feel better soon.

MasonEddie, Sounds like great plans for your wife’s birthday.

Drifter_016, Hope your Dr figures out what’s wrong and you feel better.

I hope everyone has a great day and a safe one. Prayers for everyone not feeling well.

Jeff, well I am sure its not helping.  The more I am on it the more it swells.

Finally got a chance to clue in the Manager on how the winder works.  Was surprised he didn't know how to tie the nail not to the fly line.  First couple I needed to do had to do old school by just holding the loops in my fingers  ::) went and got the tool and told him to charge it out for store use  ;D bet when someone wants one done he is going to holler at me .

Good day in the low forties with overcast sky weather guessers calling for rain this afternoon and maybe some snow overnight as the low will be near freezing. There was a fire at one of the older church's in the city of Newburgh damaged the fellowship hall thankfully the hall was an addition to the building and was separated by a thick stone wall from the worship area.
Eddie belated Birthday wishes to your wife .  You asked about ice conditions in my area most of the smaller bodies of water are ice free and not sure how good the shorelines are on the larger lakes believe most folks are prepping for the trout opener and open water fishing.
Whopper Stopper good to hear your ribs are getting better and the repaired saw is running like new. All the best with today's tree take downs.
Ice Wanderer may you get better soon ,not to panic you might want to talk with the friends you fished with and see if any of them was recently ill and where they have been lately. My humble opinion but NYDMV record keeping is a mess  my mother died in Feb. of 2015 still received renewal for her license in 2019.
Wallyworld competing/playing many sports has gotten expensive . Hope you enjoyed the outdoor show and the track system was ready for pickup. May the system install be an easy one.
Hunts2long gues the Food-Fuel contest is a go for this weekend. Glad Willow received a good report at the vets.
IFF figured the Grand Opening celebration would be a multiple day event don't want to miss what should be increased weekend costumer volume. Have you receive the machine for licenses. Good you were able to give the fishing dept. manager a lesson on the line winder. Better not let them know of your skills on the BBQ. grill or you will be store chef at any Summer sale celebrations in addition to all your other duties.
Old Goat may your brothers health improve. Good to hear the transducer arrived and the lowrance x4 is working.
Drifter sorry to hear you had to spend time at the hospital may your doctor be able to find cause of breathing problem and blood pressure spike. i see you posted while I type grat to read you are feeling better and back at work.
Icefisher-45 nice hat your wife is off and can get Mr.Dickens out for a longer walk. Hope things are getting better with the headaches.

Have a safe and good Friday. Best to all with plans of fishing.

Afternoon all,

WS....glad you got your saw back as scheduled, hope the tree cutting went well today

IW....thought I’d wait for everyone else to post today so as not to mess anyone up lol
Hope you’re feeling better

Drifter....glad to hear you’re back on your feet again, take it easy this weekend

Eddie....another week in the history books, any fishing plans for the weekend?

IFF....hope you’re finding time at home to elevate that leg

MrC.....glad to hear the church wasn’t affected by the fire

H2L....,glad Willow had a good check up

IF45....I’m sure Mr Dickens was happy for the long walk

The show was good. Our traxstech order was ready and waiting, saved about $100 or so in shipping by picking it up out there. We always go to the show in March anyway so it wasn’t like we were making a special trip just for that. Next week looks like temps near 60* so it will be a good time to pull the boat out and get the tracks installed.

Have a good evening. Stay safe.

Good Morning Everyone,
28* light wind this am, high of 38 today. Picked up about an inch of snow overnight.

H2...glad Willow handled the trip to the Vet well...my dogs seem to sense what is going to happen there and don’t want any part of it, lol.   It’s going to be a busy weekend up on the reservoir...will Food-Fuel have an update on the leader board?  Best of luck to all the contestants!
Bud...good luck today with the Grand Opening crowds! Think there should be a little bonus for teaching the nail knot to the manager?   ;D   Might have to take a peek at the website to see if there will be online sales available.
Wally...I’m guessing you and Mr.WW are slightly anxious to get the Trax installed?   Glad it was ready and waiting for you...looking forward to the pictures when it’s finished!
Steve...thank you, will pass that on to my wife! Glad to read the church was spared from the fire!   Thought maybe some of the lakes were opened up now down your way...starting to see smaller ponds doing that here as well....trout streams have been looking really good recently!
Dave..glad you’re feeling better and narrowed it down to the new meds being a problem! Hope your Dr. can straighten that out, best wishes!     I read your temperatures there out loud to the boys at work yesterday....can’t repeat the replies here, but they were pretty good!!   :roflmao:
I-45...bet Mr.Dickens enjoyed the day out to the park! Hope you’re feeling a little better today!
Marv...good news on your ribs feeling better and the saw purring like a kitten...or a pissed off tiger!  ;D   Hope yesterday’s finale at the S-I-L’s went well for you!   Has Arrow been back for another visit yet?
Jeff..hope that bug has run its course and you’re feeling better today!   Good luck today if you’re heading out...see some warm weather coming again.

I woke up strangely from a dream yesterday morning, but remembered seeing what was a digital clock flashing the numbers 117...that was around 2am. I don’t play the lottery numbers game at all, but had strong feeling to play that number...so I put $10 on it for the midday drawing....$5 straight/$5 box.
It came out 417...just missed the dang thing! Oh well, I couldn’t have used the extra $2,900 anyways.  Hope the Cawfee’s not as bitter as I am this morning...but its on!   :%$#!:  ;D
Have a great day all, be safe, best of luck to those fishing!

24* and clear.

Eddie, I saw quite a few guys out on the lake yesterday afternoon. I know a few that stay out overnight for the weekend. Might not be as many doing that this year as some have already taken their shanties off the lake. There weren't many to begin with.

Ice45, I am sure Mr. Dickens will enjoy his visit to the lake. My daughter is bringing Rocky and Willow to visit Scout today. That is always fun.

WW. looks like a couple good days coming up to be working on the boat. Shake Down may be closer than you think.

Drifter, glad it was just the Meds and not a relapse. I know whenever my wife's meds are changed, I read all the paper work and watch her a day or so.

Hope all are feeling well and have a good day....h2l

Good morning everyone

Heading to 55 later on with a good shot of breaking 60 tomorrow.

Eddie "Dang it anyway" that would have been a story. I will have to get out to the camera today. I know the turkeys have been visiting but I can't say if arrow was with the group.

WW the temps are going up but the snow is still hanging tight ??? Everywhere I drive is grass, but the rest of the yard has a good 1 1/2' of ice snow. Always sad packing away the ice gear however this year I will look forward to it.

IW doesn't sound like you missed much hanging low for a couple days. Good luck getting on the ice when you head out again

The trees went well and we wrapped it up around noon. There was one oak that I have had on my mind all winter. It was a tall spindly animal that I wasn't looking forward to climbing. When the time came I walked the yard first double checking for any place to drop it through. As luck would have it I found a very tight hole that I could send it. I was worried about damaging an existing oak but we went for it anyway. When the tree tangled with the existing oak I cut the hing and it made a perfect roll without and damage being done as it crashed down. It made my day

Hope you all have an excellent Saturday  Stay safe.

Good Evening Everyone, Was a nice day out. Went with my wife to NH today so she could get a Ninja blender that she found on Facebook Market Place. She is hoping to make smoothies and such. It is amazing what it can do. She does try to get me out. Says it’s good for me.

Whopper Stopper, Hopefully Arrow is ok, Great job on landing the oak with no damage. How is the saw running?

WallyWorld, Hopefully you get out more next ice season. When do you get to put the boat in the water?

Hunts2long, Hope you got out today. Mr Dickens did enjoy his walk yesterday and my wife got him out today.

Old Goat, How is your wife feeling? Did you get out fishing today?

Ice Wanderer, Hope you got out safely on the ice and had a good day.

Mason Eddie, That does sound like a strange dream. Did you get out on the ice today?

IFF, Hope you had a good day at the store. Are you keeping your leg elevated?

I hope everyone had a great day and have a good evening. God Bless

              Good morning ER's,
It's 25* and clear here on my hill. ::) Welcome to daylight saving time, again I wish they would change the clocks
a half hour and leave it alone.
Marv...…….Your Da Man getting the tree down without any damage to other trees. :flex:
Wally...…..I'm getting antsy as well, I want to get my pontoon boat in the water but first the ice has to melt.
Eddie...…..Sorry the lottery ticket didn't pay out for you, better luck next time.
H2L...……..When fishing Champlain most guys have been taking the permies back to shore at night, sometimes things
              happen at night. ???
I-45...…….I'm glad your wife got you out on the trip to NH, it's good to be in the fresh air for awhile.
OS...……...How is your wife doing after a week of treatments? ???
Dave...…..I hope you're feeling better and got some rest this weekend. ???
I didn't have to but I took the NY boating safety course on line, it said it would take about 3 hours but I guess the gave me the long version.
It took me 6.5 hours, I got 97% on the finale test. What taking it will do is lower my insurance premium, and it was a good refresher of what I had
             learned a long time ago.
Jon and I are hitting Champlain tomorrow, probably for the last time. The shore is going fast and with the temps up in the 50's in the high
            sun beating on it.
I hope everyone has a good Sunday either at work or out.

           IW

Good Morning Jeff, Wally, Morning Everyone,
28* to start the day off, high of 52 today.

Jeff...wish they would have left the clock right where it was at...I just got use to that schedule!   ;D   Congrats on the boating safety course! Best of luck to you and Jon tomorrow, hope you fellas find those big pike eager to bite!
Wally...we’re all meeting up for dinner this evening at a steak house, reserved a room they have, looking forward to that.    Looking forward to getting outside in the garden again soon...but you never know what March and April weather is capable of here in NY.  ;D
I-45...glad you got some time outside, can’t beat the fresh air on a nice day.
Marv...way to go dropping that oak, your expertise paid off!
H2...saw a real nice pike posted yesterday, couldn’t find a leader board though for the contest. I’m sure we’ll see some posts today.

I’ll be putting my ice gear up today or tomorrow...hate the thought of it, but the lakes will be taking a beating here with this warm weather moving in. Sights set on the trout season now...maybe a trip or two up to Ontario casting from shore for some Brown’s, a buddy of mine is anxious to get up there.
  Cawfee’s on...
Have a great day all, be safe, best of luck to those fishing!

22* this morning.
IW, good luck on the ice on Monday.
Haven't heard any reports on how they are doing in the contest. There were about 40 trucks parked at the campsite yesterday morning.
Have to go fix breakfast.
Have a good day...h2l
