Good Morning ER's

Well Eddie, glad I wasn't in on the cupcakes  :roflmao: :roflmao: '

Looks like the guessers really missed the one for today, not that I am complaining, and it all headed back up to Marv.  If the winds that went threw here is heading your way Marv, look out.  ::)

its going to take some doing to talk my body into working out this morning, maybe some Aleve will talk me into it.  Dang I'm sore.

Maybe I should just hook up the boat, go fishing and forget about it, and call it good.

take care all.

Eddie You just made my day with Mikes April fools joke. The best one I have ever heard.

It looks like the weather guessers have been way off again at least for now. All of the precip is way down in Indiana, and headed east for now any way. We will have to wait and see where the stuff out by Marv ends up going.

IF-45. It is good to here your insurance is back up and running.

The wife's problem from yesterdays appointment is a simple fix by removing the sack that keeps filling up with yuck. She had a lot bigger one removed years ago.

The test she had done on Saturday was to check and see how well her gallbladder was working. It was a pretty complex test with different radioactive dies. It appears that she has some problems with gall bladder issues so we will see where things go from here.

I just checked the radar out your way when I got home from the store. From what I saw earlier the storm has sure blossomed out since then. Just let it set, it will all melt sooner or later. Probably later.

We started getting a few flakes a while ago. The radar here shows a few scattered lake effect bands coming inland.

ww Only time will tell on how they will take care of the issue. It is above the knowledge of our primary doctor. He kind of let things go as the tests he used were not out of line. Her gastic surgeons office ordered the test she had on Saturday.

TT it's coming down pretty good now :cookoo:

Supposedly it should be over by about 7pm or so, I will probably worry about it tomorrow. I am guessing IW's cat would stay inside with the 25mph winds we have. It sure makes the ambiance have that nice snow globe effect ??? Tonight we drop to +10 so it should be another good stove stuffing night

When I went out for the mail, I noticed the water content is fairly high in the snow. I am planning on going up in the attic later and getting the old ice cream maker down. It should be about perfect for a batch of artery clogger.

Hope everyone is having a good day!

A few hours ago I heard a hard rain hitting the roof. I was to lazy to get up and look. An hour later a couple of women came to the house to give some papers to the wife. She hollered to me to come salt walk and steps. What I thought was rain was hail. It was all it they could do to get back down the steps and get to their car. I just used a broom to clean the ice off but I salted the heck out of every thing as the temp is due to drop tonight. It never got above 35* today.

It's 35* and light rain is falling here on my hill, seems to be whats it going to be for this Hump Day day! ::)
Wally........What a great day you all had out on the water despite being a little chilly.

Steve.......You guys down there sure have gotten your fair share of snow but only to have it go so fast, your lucky.
I still have 14" in my yard! That's what I get for living here on my hill! :woot:
I-45.......I happy to hear that your insurance has been straightened out.

Good Morning IW! Good Morning Everyone

10 degrees heading to 30 by afternoon.

Just a quick Hello before I get on the blower (maybe last time this winter ???) and do a final clean up. We ended up with about 9" which wouldn't have been bad, except it took 48 hours to get done, and the wind was the biggest villain :%$#!:

I talked to my sister last night and she gets out of rehab Thursday. She said it definitely paid to stay but the time has come for her to get home.

TT best of luck to your wife in the coming days with her Doctoring. Watch out for slippery sidewalks!

Hope everyone has a good "Hump Day" I am off to scrape the slab. Stay safe!

Good Morning ER's  Fisher-45 28* this morning.

Jeff, right you are,  not going anywhere but for a lighter workout.  Think I will scale back some and not attack the whole body all at once.  Spent most of the day trying to get over a touch of food poisoning, think it was the bacon.  :nono: ::)

Filled out the employment app. online for GanderOutdoors.  Surprised I made it all the way threw it, without a gremlin showing up.  :o  So now I am "Under Review"

TT yeah not feeling good, makes for days longer than they should be.  Hope there is good improvements on that score.

WW nice pics, of the browns.  getting close to beer barrel sizes   :flex:

Now if I can just get my stomach to settle down, will make the best of it today

Good Day all.

We got a couple of inches of snow on top of the ice last night. I think I will put on my ice cleats before going out to clean up the snow and see if I can get the doors open on the van so I can start it up to melt the hail off of it. It must have been a senior or senile moment that I did not clean the ice when I cleaned the ice off of the walk yesterday.

IFF You should have no problem geting some workat GanderOutdoors with your experience.

WW That is a great catch of browns. They used to catch quite a few in Lake Michigan in close to shore in the spring. The fishing in Lake Michigan has gotten worse over the years due mainly to the lack of forage for the salmon to eat.

It was the wife's gastric doctor that ordered the test last Saturday on her gall bladder. He looks at other organs when he did her sleeve last year. her gall bladder looked OK or he would have taken it out at that time. Now the wait to see what he wants to do.

Afternoon all,

WS.....hope you can finally put the snowblower away for the season now  ::)  glad to hear your sister is going to be heading home soon

H2L....glad the NYC trip went well   does seem either a phone or online visit would work as long as there's no hands on check being done

TT....hope your ice/snow is gone soon  ;)

IFF.....hope your stomach settles sooner rather than later  :-\  good luck with the Gander review  ;)2

MrC.....fingers crossed the rain isn't causing any flooding down your way after the snow   :-\

Nice sunny skies here right now, the rain has moved out for a bit and the winds haven't really kicked in yet   :)  Sure would be nice if the weatherman was wrong about the cold front bringing high winds and snow  ::)

Have a good evening and stay safe.

Good Morning Everyone,
Strong winds and snow flurries, 26* this am, high of 36 for today. Looks like Marvs weather reached us less the snow accumulation. Wind steady at 25-35mph gusts in the 60mph range. Great weather for a wind turbine, not much else!

Wally...great job on the Browns, awesome!!  :flex:   Imagine Mr.WW's brother must have really enjoyed that trip, great outing! Thanks for the pictures....
Bud..hope you're feeling better today, food poisoning is a nasty item for sure. Best of luck with the Gander position Sir!
Marv...hope the snow removal is all caught up and you can relax a bit now! Congrats to your sister getting released today, and best wishes to her with a full recovery!
Jeff...yes, started at 4 again yesterday and was running a tad behind. Sounds like the ice is done on LG now, you guys had a good season!! Did anybody come close to reaching/landing the 300 fish goal?
I-45...glad to hear the insurance issue is all taken care of, hope you're feeling better!
H2...guess its always about the $, glad to hear you had a safe trip and all is well with your wife.
Tom..hope you were careful with that ice and snow removal yesterday Sir. My son's April Fools Day prank was pretty well received after all was said and done..I'm just wondering what the payback will be...and when?     ;D
Steve..glad to read that snow you got is gone already, nice! It's disappearing around here now, slowly but surely getting my lawn back, lol.

Had to scratch my head and ask what the heck is next after seeing a video one of the guys at work showed me yesterday. It seems snorting " condoms " through ones nose and pulling it out through their mouths is now the thing to do. I guess eating laundry detergent just wasn't good enough.... :cookoo:
Had another crew member show us what happens to a " Peep ", the marshmallow treats you get at Easter, when they get microwaved for about 30-45 seconds....the thing grew into a giant molten mass right before our very eyes!
Guess yesterday was a learning lesson of some sorts...hoping there's no pop quiz this morning, Good Lord...cawfee's on!   ;D
Have a great day all, be safe, best of luck to those fishing!

                    Good morning Eddie, ER's,
It's 18* and light winds at this time and we also had a dusting of snow overnight. Last evening at 6:41 our power went out and came on
on at 11:30, I was a sleep but woke when it came on. I couldn't get back to sleep until after 2 am. :%$#!:
Wally......I know you had heavy wind, did you loose your power. I got to get a generator. ::)
Marv...... I hope your sister recovers even further now that she is home. :flex:
Eddie......What is wrong with these people snorting condoms, wacko! :cookoo: What's next?
I have another OT session today in Albany at the "VA" I'm still feeling the reminiscence of the last session.
I hope everyone has a good Thursday either at work or at play.

Morning all,

IFF....fingers crossed the Tums do the trick  :)  maybe you need some "water therapy" to settle that tummy  :woot:

Eddie.....saw that condom snorting on another website, can't imagine what's next   :cookoo:   yep we got him "hooked" on browns for sure

IW....glad the outage didn't last too long  ;)  never lost it here   doesn't your outdoor furnace overheat when there's no power  ???

WS....hope you're not battling the elements again today  :nono: I can't wait to smell fresh cut grass, how bout you  ??? ;D

Sunny, breezy and cool this morning. Looks like a ride to fishing camp today to check for any damages, lots of trees nearby, hopefully all still standing   Had a big tree fall here at home, luckily it landed on the lawn not the house  ;)  just need to break out the chainsaw and rake

Have a good day at work or play. Stay safe.

I will give it one more try......

10 degrees here this morning with any luck it will reach the mid 30's, and in the 7 day they show a +50 next week ???

Good luck today at the VA IW  I hope this session ends up better than the last one.

WW I am ready for some grass :nono: I should say Green lawns ;D Hope things look good at the fishing camp

Eddie I saw that video also with the condoms. I am guessing lubed would be best  I give up trying to figure kids out. Just when you think there can't be anything left a new fad is born. I am guessing streaking will never return in it's original form :woot:

I am off to the Chiropractor this morning and then a stop at Cabela's which is kind of on the way

Hope you all have an excellent day no matter what's on the agenda  Above all else stay safe!

            Good morning again ER's,
I heard on the radio that there are over 5000 homes without power in our county. I saw a lot of branches along the side of the road this
            morning.
Wally......My boiler has a fan and a flapper to supply air to the firebox so when the power goes out it is shut down so no heat is generated. There is
some residual heat but does not go over 200*.
Marv......Have a good trip to the Chiropractor and to Cabela's. I'm just now seeing adds on TV for Bass Pro and Cabela's.

Good morning ,wind still blowing here started yesterday after noon sure there are power outages somewhere in my area. Weather guessers calling for snow changing to rain for Friday. Also seeing another sign of Spring in my travels "pot holes" road repair crews will bebusy for quite awhile filling and patching.
Tom Turkey good idea to wear ice cleats don't need a nasty fall while clearing the snow with ice build up underneath it hope you were able to get doors on van open without to much of a struggle.
IFF hope you feel better soon ,best of luck with the Gander Outdoors application.
Eddie wonder how many people will end up in hospital's /doctors offices when condom get stuck in nasal passages. Be careful if you show grandchildren Peep in microwave trick molten sugar sticks to skin and cause nasty burns.
Whopper Stopper may chiropractor help with any problems caused by snow removal these last few days. Good to read your sister is headed home all the best with her recovery.
Wallyworld have not heard of any flooding yet streams are at high water levels between snow melt and recent rains . So things  are present for flooding. Fresh cut grass is a nice smell unless your the one doing all the mowing.
Ice Wanderer glad the power outage was of short duration. Do your research before buying a generator having to keep a large quanity of gasoline on hand is not the safest thing you may do better with unit that uses different fuel type.May your VA therapy session not leave you in to much pain.
Icefisher-45 hope you are back on medications and feeling better.

A safe and good Thursday to all.

Good Morning Everyone,
Clear and 23* this am, high of 40 today. Suppose to get an inch or so of the white stuff late morning then change over to rain.

Steve..pothole season has certainly arrived, haven't really seen much road repair going on here or on my daily commute yet.  No worries about the " Peeps " growing here, that's not going to happen on my watch, lol.   ;D
Marv..agreed, lubricated would probably be a good choice, maybe ribbed if they have a cold?   ;D.   Hope the gremlins leave you be today buddy....how was the chiropractor visit?
Jeff..heard your area got hit hard with the power outages yesterday, hoping you didn't lose power again! How did everything go for you yesterday at the VA?
Wally...maybe the weather will cooperate soon and get you back out on those Browns! Hope things were ok at the fishing camp and no major problems.

Well, no pop quiz yesterday and no new videos or microwave demonstrations....

                        Good morning Eddie, ER's,
It's 19* and clear here on my hill, the weather cat is out on the prowl, that means there is no wind.
Eddie........My power only went off the one time but MW;s power is still out. I went over to his house to get some eggs
and I found a tree and power lines down. Luckily he has a generator to run his house. Here's picture of what I found.

Marv.......yuck lubricated think of the residue left in the back of their throat.
Steve......In driving down in Albany yesterday there were certainly a lot of potholes that need to be filled. ::)
Wally.......I saw in the forecast snow again! :o

Good Morning Eddie, IW! Good Morning ER's

19 degrees with a 25mph breeze bringing back our buddy Mr.W.Chill. Eventually the sun will come out, the birds will sing Blah, Blah , Blah.

IW glad your power wasn't affected too bad with the weather. Nice to hear Kolie the weather kitty made it outside today, hope she has some good hunting  How did things go at the VA?

Eddie have a good wrap to the week Sir! Any trout plans for the weekend? My Chiropractor visit was just fine. A couple of cracks, 2 snaps, 3 crunches and I felt like a new person ???

WW what's up for the weekend? Hope you have a good day over there

One of the big lakes here last year had ice off in mid March, yesterday they said it still has 27" of solid ice. It looks like it will be awhile before we will see any open water.

No plans here today,  just stuffing the stove and some garage time.

Hope you all have an excellent Friday  Keep safe out there!

19* and sunny this morning with NO wind. We didn't loose power here, but some in the area were out. A friend called Wed evening with no power. His next door neighbor was told last summer that he had a tree in his yard that didn't look very good. It came down Wed. got his porch and a section of roof.

WW, hope all was well at camp.

IW, I see on the news that a lot of trees came down over your way.

Lake has come up about 4 feet in the last 5/6 days. It would help if we got some warm weather. Still a lot of snow in the woods.

Have a good day...h2l

Good Morning ER's Nice to hear bone Dr. did his thing and your feeling great.

Did a light workout, Tommy's feels much better, light breakfast, out of the way, now will see if the weather guesser got it right on having some moisture in the form of snow later today, and the north wind kicking in.  Looks like NY, Penn is getting another dose, Guess Marv didn't want to keep any of that.

Best to all, have a good weekend if you can.
