So I have decided to build one of these this year I all ready have the skis but what should I make the riser blocks out of 1x10 or 2x10 i want to stay light as possible bc I have a frabill trekker two man. Will the 1x10 be strong enough.

I would go with 2 x 10 stock. I couple lbs more won't matter in my opinion.

Best to go with 2 by whatever. 1 by will not be strong enough. I did my risers with 2x4 and it works out well. Personal preference for sure.

Ok sounds good to me just didn't want to have to build things twice I have a tendency to over research things before I do it.
