Heard through the grapevine that the pike state record was broken today up north somewhere. Anyone else hear this?

A buddy of mine works for F&G and he had heard from a coworker up north that someone brought it in today. I will be hearing from him later so I will update with any more details. Was just curious if anyone had else had better info then me at this point. Always cool to see records broken. And Capt. I hear ya I try not to beat the dead horse out here with as much of it that goes on.

Confirmed but not certified yet. Regional bioligist let me know that Moore Reservoir produced a 26 lb 11 oz. 44" pike last weekend. Fish was taken by Kevin Phelps of Monroe NH. It was 1" shorter than the previous record (also from Moore) but 2 lbs heavier!!
They only have phone picture at this time and it is pretty fuzzy??
