Monroe Country Store says that they have copy of the photo.  So I don't see why anyone should have any doubts about posting one.
If I'm down there today I will check it out. 

I guess I will have to leave my 41/2" Nils home when I perch fish Moore??   Maybe even my 10" might be enough if this fish is even thicker than Jaques'??

Thankfully, these monsters disapear into the Moore depths during open water season when they are fished hard!!

 ;D ;D  Ok! spoke to Kevin's wife and she let me know that the monster pike is already filleted and in the fridge!!  He plans to do a photo repro of it.   He's my kind of fisherman.   Photo and eat!  Waste not Want not!!   
Let you know more when I here from him.  He's back to work for the week!

Just got this from NH F&G

"One of our biologists reports that an angler from Monroe, NH caught a potential record northern pike out of Moore Reservoir this past weekend. The fish was observed by one of our Conservation Officers and the angler is in the process of filing paperwork for submission as a new state record pike. Unofficial at this point. Size: 44" 26 lbs 11 oz. The current state record pike is 45" 24 lbs 14.4 oz."

nice thanks Scott, I thought that the fish had to be examined by a BIOLOGIST as well tho to become the new state record? I may be mistaken tho, beautiful fish congrats to the guy

Awesome fish! Would love to just catch a 20lber! I would love to see a picture of this beast, not because I doubt the info at all, just because it's fun to see pics of fish that big from NH!

I wonder how long it took him to ice it? I bet it made a couple of runs so he must know how to manage his tip-ups squid line. I am still learning this myself and get all tangled up sometimes.
