Zooplankton Thank-You....I started this post to get ideas, and that Perch mount is fantastic. I am going to print it out and show it to my taxidermist buddies and see who thinks they could do it. And , WHEN I catch a worthy fish (preferably a big Jumbo like yours) That is how it will be mounted.
6.8lb Brown trout caught on ultra lite tackle in Adams Massachusetts.(Image removed from quote.)
How long was he?
The walleye stringer are fish from Erie all caught on March 17, 2012. Total weight for the six was 63lbs. It was a once in a lifetime day that we've all had fishing where you look back and just shake your head. All were caught trolling husky jerks. No they weren't through a hole but had to share them. The taxidermist is Bob Taylor and he turns out an excellent product. He started out as an artist and transitioned into taxidermy. He's about a 45 min. drive from where I live but, has never given me a reason to think twice about taking fish to him.
Very, very Impressive Sir!!!!!! I love the mount bada$$!!!!
gillpill sounds like your going to have pretty big taxidermist bill coming your ayin the spring and your right you gonna have alot less wall space. I only have one buck I shot on the wall and soonto have a european of the buck i sot this year. the one on the wall now is 115 and the one that the skull mount will be of is around a 130.
Novelty pine, or Pic wic paneling, very nice as they age, must be an old 60-70's house or camp. Those mounts look great against it.
