Show us those Mounts !!
« on: Jan 13, 2013, 06:32 PM »
I know alot of guys have posted pictures of their fish mounts before...but lets do it again. I am looking for ideas for some ideas for some future mounts of my own. So lets see some pics guys....I know you are proud of them...so show them off here. Below are a couple pics of mine. The one is a stringer mount I had done several years ago of some gills that I pulled through the ice. They are all 9-10". And the other is my "Bass Wall of Fame". The two largemouth are 5 1/2 lbs and 8 1/2 lbs. And the smallmouth is just over 6 lbs.

Nice mounts, guys.  Here's my 16 1/4 inch crappie from 2 years ago (before & after).  And just for the heck of it, my 8 point euro mount; also from 2 years ago.

The walleye stringer are fish from Erie all caught on March 17, 2012.  Total weight for the six was 63lbs.  It was a once in a lifetime day that we've all had fishing where you look back and just shake your head.   All were caught trolling husky jerks.  No they weren't through a hole but had to share them.  The taxidermist is Bob Taylor and he turns out an excellent product.  He started out as an artist and transitioned into taxidermy.  He's about a 45 min. drive from where I live but, has never given me a reason to think twice about taking fish to him.

I also get my mounts done at Taylor's, he does the best work I've ever seen. The fish look just as good as the day you pulled them out of the water
