No big deal. Just a bit of snow.   This isn't the tropics like down there in northern mass....

I'm looking to be up there friday night with the shack, going to be right on the Sinclair/St. Agatha line. Not exactly sure where, but my buddy has been scouting the area, he has a few stores he delivers to that are on the lake.. just look for the green shack from Easton.

I'll be up there with a crew, should be fun!
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did so. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Yea Eagle is the lake where the winning Togue will most likely be taken and Mad Rock is popular. People on Beau and Glazier will be after Muskie. I would love to catch something to enter in the derby, but I also like some elbow room. So I'll be on Square... out there... somewhere. Good luck everyone.

What? Almost having to break up a fight between Frenchie and I during the derby last year wasn't you idea of fun? Where's your sense of adventure?

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that Frenchie probably had too much to drink.

I know Square is a big lake, I've done well this year. I passed by Yorskies Sunday morn... didn't see any holes along shore. If you eat and like to catch trout put some holes 30-40 feet off of shore, crawlers, pinners... you'll get some in front of the camps, get out early and be patient.
Saturday on Long... 1 salmon all day with 3 other flags. I was trying a new spot but Long is usually slow anyway.

16-17 inch is the norm... probably not enough to place in the derby but nice trout anyway. There has got to be some 4-5 pound trout and 7-8 pound salmon in there.

If you were on the lake we were to the left of the camps towards the brook that is there. There is actually a shack right near where we fished. We started about 20 ft out and ran all the way out with 10 traps, and then up the shore about 500 ft with another line of 10 traps. Just a slow day was all
