Fun Day on the Ice 1-15-05
« on: Jan 16, 2005, 03:55 PM »
Finally made it out on the ice - I know, I know, 15 days into the season and first day out - pretty sad. But that's the way it goes sometimes. These were taken in front of my brothers camp in central Maine. His first day out too - and he lives on the pond! Sad, sad, sad.  :roflmao:

My daughter loves to fish as long as she doesn't have to get up too early.

I didn't realize I looked this old.....isn't gray a sign of wisdom?   ::)

One of my favorite traps

I'm still not sure about this trap. Anybody have one like this?

Looks like a nice doy on the ice, and nope that last trap is one of a kind, I would say.  ;D The only thing with that one, it looks like the line could freeze up a little easy.  :D Great pictures.  ;D

The sled is to hold my traps. Here's a better look at it

Like using a Parker to birdhunt.  Special traps for special fishing.  That is really neat Out4Trout.  Handmade "things" are always more enjoyable to use.  Part of the fun icefishing for you I'm sure!  Nice pics too...and yes, you do look old.  I can say that at 48!   ;D  Hoppes

LOL  :roflmao: But I'm only 25.......actually 45. Some days I feel like 25, other days like 65. The first trap is homemade (by my neighbor) but I paid money for the second one. That little flapper is supposed to catch the wind and jig your bait. I can think of a few improvements that I my make to it.
