Fly the Team Iceshanty Flag! Iceshanty Proshop
I have never heard of a person drowning falling through the ice wearing a pfd life vest. $20 from bass pro, many can not afford A.A.
... but they can afford quads and snowmobiles worth thousands of $$$... and sonar units that cost twice the price of a AA suit.
They have enough floatation material in 1 suit to float 3 adults. The suit is light weight, warm, water and wind proof. Some people will spends thousands of $$$ on quads, snowmobiles, and tackle... but balk at buying a $300 suit that will save their lives... it should be a must have for all that fish ice or cold water. Here's a video.http://www.idigear.com/video-fox.php
I bought the ARmor plus & the tags say it'll float 280 lbs
I understand, but if you'll watch this video with the sound on the IDI rep states the suit has enough floation to float 3 adults.http://www.idigear.com/video-fox.php
I bought mine 1 size larger so I could layer clothes under it. This is my third year wearing it and I love it. It blocks the wind. I do not use a shanty and fish in zero degrese weather + wind. It is very warm on a warm day.
For those of you that have tested it, what would happen if you went in the water wearing only the bibs. My opinion is that you would be inverted.
change your name to bob maybe?
I guess the guys who can afford that can buy AA.I'll email you my address you can buy me a pair 2XL
Can you set a price on your life? I bet your family would set it higher than the cost of the suit. I wouldn't fish without mine. I even wear it walleye fishing on the Detroit River in the spring when it's still cold.I know the value of a dollar, wife's been unemployed almost 2 years now. She didn't think twice of the cost of my AA. She wants me to come home everyday, and so do my daughters.
I don't go out on the ice without it and neither will my Buddy, Shakey dad !!(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)
