anybody here if Glendo is freezing up yet. Not sure if I can put a auger or a boat in there?

No, not at all. we had lots of tipups and 2 of us jigging,but your choices on where you can fish are still very limited. definitely cant jump from spot to spot.

Goodluck out on Glendo yet. I drive by there and take a peek 2-3 times a week and that ice is still way to sketchy for me.

I was about to, but it is a very long drive this time of year. everything is snowed in.

I tried going up through Esterbrook a few weeks ago, but couldn't quite get to the top. The Rockriver route is a long drive from Douglas and so is the Wheatland Route. I thought about trying to go through El-Rancho but I have never been that way. I could also look for a an elk on the same trip.

with that type of drive you can go to pathfinder and catch walleye and trout.

Hawk Springs is about half way between Torrington and Cheyenne. Last Saturday the ice looked to me to be unsafe, at least along the dam (deepest part). The ice south and east might be better, I didn't go over there to look.

extended forecast cast for a frigid cold snap starting late next week and lasting for 8-10 days, Might be enough to get us out on Glendo Finally.

alright, so it is currently -2 at Glendo (according the weather.com) and it is not supposed to get above freezing for 5 days.....Cmon Ice!!!!

It was 8 degrees when I went through Casa. Elkhorn looked like it was capped. Guernsey reservoir had open water in the middle still too. I agree, if the next week and a half doesn't make it solid enough, well you know...
