I would hope so with this cold weather, the sheet is pretty thin right now.  I did see some guy fishing  at the north side of elk horn. 

alot of snow in the park and some drifts are a foot or more. 

I would say 90% of the lake capped last night.

I would say elk horn is safe, but it now has alot of drifted snow on it.

just looked at the weather report for Glendo and its looking promising.  Has anyone been out on the ice yet?

I talked to someone in Douglas that said it was only 2" but I cant recall where they checked.

We made a scouting mission on the 1st all was capped some bays looked thick we ended up fishing the marina a good 5-6" marked a bunch of tiny fish a couple good returns either shad or carp but no takers only fished for an hr maybe but for the rest of glendo just not ready I'm guessing by this weekend that is why it's a toss up between Glendo or Hattie derby.
