Folks will we fish before 2011 again like we were able to last year ?? What do you think I am hoping for the week of Christmas.

im thinking the first week of december. i have pictures from the week of thanksgiving on 2" of ice nailing bass and northerns. its going to be an early winter!!!!!!!!!

Last wednesday i had to bust through a pretty thick layer of ice to get out in the marsh to go quacker blasting. I think the bays up around the champlain islands are gonna harden up bout xmas.

Somebody around here will be on the setbacks of the Connecticut in Brattleboro before Christmas. I don't have the stones to be the first guy out-I usually give it a week after I see tracks or other anglers. I'm guessing I find 6 inches on the 29th of December.

Last season my first ice adventure was 12/19/2009, but there were old holes drilled so I would think a week or so before that. Think ice...

My first day out last year was December 18th. Ice was thin and led to open water in the deeper sections. Hoping for the same date if not sooner!

Over an inch on the little pond out back, and looks ;like its supposed to stay about 30 for the next ten days!! lets see three inches by the weekend after muzzleloader!

I was fishing by Nov 24 in CT two seasons ago...I'm thinking my early ice spot down there should be ready in a little over a week if the temps cooperate.

All the ponds where I deer hunt were locked up, won't be long now. I think I found a secret spot- brook fed pond about a mile back in the woods, hoping something is in there... I think there is considering otters were playing around in the brook upstream of the pond...

I hear those otters are bad news. One minute you think youve got a monster, the next an otter comes up through the ice wanting to eat you alive
