I was going to go out last weekend but was sick.

The week before was my first trip this year and I did ok, but ended up doing more sledding than fishing.
Things are starting to pick up around here now that the days are getting longer.

March and April are the big months as the days are long, sunny and relatively warm (in an arctic kind of way.

). I have TGF coming up to visit at the end of march and we will be spending a couple of weeks chasing giant lakers and camping out. Watch for my report in the NWT forum.
