Team Massachusetts Outing?
« on: Sep 30, 2009, 02:53 AM »
Hey guys, I know it's early, but I am wondering if we are going to get to do another weekend outing this year. I am itching to get on the ice so bad, I can't handle it much longer. Any ideas, or questions post them here. We had a great time last year and I would like to do it again. Lets get this set up early this year.

If it comes together, I'm in. No car surfing or ice vomiting for me this year though.

On Pontoosuc lake in Pittsfield.. We rented a house for the weekend. I think everyone had a great time and we ate like kings. I am up for trying somewhere else to.

During the last outing, it was suggested that we try somewhere in central MA. Honestly, I don't care where we fish as long as I catch something this time!  ;D

That fish was supposed to be a secret!!! We could always make plans for Cheshire this year. There are three lakes to Cheshire and A bunch of smaller ones that hold Pike and a few with Salmon too. If you guys want I will start looking for a place. How about a cabin in the woods roughing it a little?

Karl,
Is the trailer for the four wheeler? I saw some on CL today that would probably work.

Twins due in the 1st week in Feb pretty much makes all the outings off limits for me this year, as i have a 1/2 hour buffer, and Bartons, Bare Hill, Joslin derby and the Berks all exceed that, but if any fishing is done in the greater springfield area, i'll try to meet up with you.

I hear that the Oxbow has some good pike fishing. Never fished it but it sounds good. I am up for where ever you guys want. We could always do Woods and Onota Lake. Atleast at Woods you know we will catch pike.
If fishing was work I'd never be sick!
