the knives i take fishing consist of:
a Gerber SR-12 as a general pocket knife
a Gerber Evo Jr. as a general working knife, i use it to pop perch eyes when on the ice
a Leatherman Wave because i never leave home without it
a small no-name sheath knife i picked up at a gun show that i use for cutting things
and now a Kershaw 1084 sheath knife that has yet to make it out fishing, but i plan to use it very soon. it's a very nice knife, and i got it half-off, so it's that much sweeter.

A word of caution with the Mora clip on sheaths.

I purchased a Mora knife with one years ago. I had it on my belt while working on my duck blind. I must have caught it on some brush and it came off with out my knowing it.

I have been using ones with leather sheaths ever since. I still need to replace the clip on one but be more careful when I wear it.

I always have either a 3 or 4 blade Schrade Old-timer in my jeans pocket, the 3 blade one I've had for ever. When I put on my go-to-meeting clothes, I've got a little Schrade single blade knife I carry. During hunting season, or when I feel the need, a Buck folder goes on my belt. For some reason, I always feel like I need to have one with me.
I'd rather be :icefish:

this ones my favorite everyday knife now, conveniently clips to the inside top of the front pocket which makes it easy to get to and it stays sharp
