Is O'Donnels open Sunday?

Yes, after 8. I'm guessing he'll be there tomorrow.

O'Donnels has always had live bait when I'm there.  I haven't been there first thing in the morning to say if they are timely in opening...some shops aren't.

Is there any ice work fishing at McDaniels?  It's been warm out and I didn't get a chance to go fishing before it warmed it.  Was dreaming of going out 2 weeks ago when I saw chunks of ice floating down the Allegheny while working in Pittsburgh.

O'Donnell's is out of shiners till Friday.  Fished big run today and lots of water on top of 4" of semi clear ice.  Bite was very slow compared to my last couple trips out.

KDKA Pittsburgh just said up to an inch of 50 degree rain today.  Boo!  I don't think the ice can recover by the weekend from that.  :P

Chute, I knew there was a reason my buddy always wants me to go with him. Only during first and last ice though.

That hurts chute. Big guys don't like the " f " word. I was on 4 inches of ice with chute and yes in the lead position. He said no not t good then went to the Dead Sea of the south for 4. 5. And he liked it

So how did this warmup end?  We still have a good base to build off of over the next 5 days?

There has been ice. Doubt it's safe now but I'll bet it will be by Sunday. Planning on heading up on Sunday to check and hopefully fish.

Call O'Donnells, 724-368-3418.

No one has been at the bait shop in Slippery Rock when I've stopped. Apparently, you have to call and they will come up.
