My girlfriend just informed me that my ice fishing is very annoying to her due to: my fishing everyday, watching ice fishing videos, and being on ice shanty when I get home from ice fishing. She tells me i'm obsessed.

get out now before you end up losing half your stuff... my wife is the inside nazi and cant stand when i go fishing or hunting... oh well, i am fishing after work and maybe just pulling an all nighter since the pond is 5minutes from work

tell yours that you have to work over four hours to complete a job. just dont let her see your check.

Anyone selfish enuogh to say something like that doesn't deserve the time of day... i thought it was funny when my ex said things like that, thought we had a great relationship. trust me, if they give you crap for doing something you love, they are self-centered enough to screw you over in the end... sorry, just telling it how it is

i had this problem with my x's i just told them i loved fishing way before i loved you if you dont like it see ya. Thats y when i first started dating my wife when i went fishing i went from dark morning to dark night and she got used to it. now when i go fishing and i leave in the morning she says see you tonite good luck. shes used to it. i love my wife. you just got to learn how to train them lol.

From the start my wife knew I liked the outdoors. And she does too. Nowadays a warm shanty meens she'll be on the ice unless she is working. She understands that first ice means no shanty. Therfore I am free to fish with her sitting home with our boys. Remember how you want your life to be and find a GF that also want there life the the same way. Don't give up. Or tell tell her how it goes or she goes.

Mine left me with the kids and took off shopping today. I wanted to hit the ice for the first time but of course that never happened! Happens a lot in my household just not always shopping.

I always made it quite well known that the outdoors are the biggest part of my life and that will never change. It has caused me to loose a few but I will not sacrifice my happiness for anything.

I must be one of the lucky ones.
My wife will never step on the ice, she also hates venison and fish.
But she will let me go hunting, fishing, or anything else I want to do, as long as I get home safe. AKA walking home from the bar, no drunk driving for me. She also drives our dart team around so we can drink and she can drive sober. 12-31 will be 14 years of saying thank you for not changing me.

lay down the ground rules now on what u expect to do during hunting/fishing seasons, if she doesnt like it then say goodbye and move on.

I guess I'm lucky. My wife likes to ice fish as much as I do. I rarely get a chance to go alone. You better hit some common ground or "YOU WILL BE SORRY"

my gf hated me spending so much money on fishing when we first met until i took her with me one time in the nice heated shanty and she caught twice as many fish as i did. she knows it makes me happy so she is pretty supportive expecially since we are both laid off. she is telling me to go and get out of the house.

you definately need to come to an understanding or move on to a better girl.
