Where do you guys fish?  We have fished Kelly Bay, Dillenback Bay and Missisquoi Bay in Vermont.  We've also hit King Bay on the NY side.

Yes it is.  One of the first years I went up there we used our perch for bait money.

I went up to Champlain after Christmas and we fished Kelly Bay. A lot of action and about a dozen pike between the two of us....and we missed quite a few. Holiday Harbor is the place to stay up there. The owner Bruce is a great guy and will give you the proper advice in regards to hot spots, bait, restaurants...etc

That's what I've heard.  We used to stay in Rouses Point across the bridge from Kelly Bay, but this year we're changing it up a little.  I am staying at the Swanton Motel.  We tried Holiday Harbor, but no one was there when we stopped in back in November.  Just curious PB, did you fish the north side or south side of Kelly?

No walleyes, we just go for pike.  I wouldn't mind getting into some eyes though.  I haven't used more than 10, and that was when I was younger.  Usually use between 6 and 8 now.  Always a lot of ice and cold temps.  I hate picking up more than that on a frigid day.   :P
