Simcoe, BP, today
« on: Jan 11, 2009, 04:34 PM »
Hey guys!
New to the board... Though, I was watching this forum for awhile.
My family have a cottage in Lefroy on Simcoe so I have an access to the pearching zone. I already had enough fun this season in Cooks so I decided to try deeper waters for whites and lakers. Got to the BP around 7:40, fished 97’, had two hits, marked lots of fish. Used Williams Wobbler gold/silver, Swedish Pimple lure (had hits on this one), bad boys... Didn't manage to land any:) Although, I've ever caught none, so I am getting used to it:) Other guys around had a better luck. Landed at least 5 whites (maybe more?) and some herring.
Hope to get my first winter carp or trout this season:)
See you on the ice.
Max
Chasing two pound perch...
