Wilson Lake
« on: Jan 07, 2009, 02:55 PM »
I'm going to Wilson Lake in Hillsdale county next week. Can anyone tell me what species of fish are in it. I'd love to be able to panfish and set a tip-up for pike if they are in there. Thanks for any info you can give me. ;D

galvman,
I grew up on that lake..it has perch, crappie, bass, gar, some pike and gills...it is connected to  Bankers Lake by a channel on the Northwest side. The area I fish is just north of the channel to Bankers, there is a cove that has weeds and is usually good for ice fishing...beware of the current by the channel it may reduce ice thickness....post and let us know how you do...
