Dont mess with the birthday.  Trust me I know from experience.  I took off to upstate NY for a trip with the guys for opening Bass weekend on our Anniversary.  5 Yrs later, it still resurrects itself!  LOL

I think I read a couple of reply's about it and it sounds like a great opportunity for you?  On the other hand, before moving to NH my wife and I moved 5 times with my job so I know how stressful that can be.  Anyhow, good luck with the house hunting, markets and interest rates are both in your favor which is always a big plus!

Hey if you don't mind me asking how do gain access to Big Island pond
and can you get on with atv? Do you enter from campground? Or do you know
someone that lives on the lake?

Shaun, I have never fished Canobie or Cobbets, how do you gain access to either of them?  Is there parking available as well?  Thanks for the info.  If your fishing let me know would love to say hello.

Canobie can be accessed off of North Policy Rd. by the pump station lot (right along the lake just off the road) There is also a ramp for Windham Residents off of 111

Cobbets is tougher to get on as it is mostly private. Most guys I know, who fish there know someone who lives on it. I have heard you could take a chance at parking down by the beach but it's a chance?

Good Luck...
