So lets make it clear. Big Lake chumming?

So there have been some post regarding the use of bait on Big lake and people have been going back and foward.  I know that you can not have bait on your hook, that is very clear.  My question is simple, (yes or no)...can you chum below your hole when fishing on Big lake?

I talked to trooper ackelkock today and he said it is leagle if you dont belive me there is a 800 # on the back of your licence you can call to check for yourself
