first trip of the year

hit lake 14 yesterday arrived about 12 noon and fished till around 3:15. The father-in-law and i caught close to 20 perch with a handful of those being good eater size,  bite was slow with the majority of the hits resulting from jigging. biggest was about 11 inches or so. we were fishing in 10-11 feet of water and hooks were about 3-4 inches off the bottom

I was there Tuesday and did not to bad lots of small perch and a few keepers between the 9to12 inch range, we had to work for the fish we caught ,never moved around to try any different spots just sat tight, had a good day all in all.
