Boulder Lake
« on: Dec 23, 2008, 06:05 PM »
I just received a note from my fishing buddy over in Pinedale. He said Boulder lake was frozen from the dam all the way past the new boat dock to the old boat dock. He and his son have been catching lakers in the 8 pound range and they limited out the other day in 1 and 1/2 hours. There's open water yet on most of the lake. I'll wait a week.

Hey thanks that'd be nice, I talked to Brian, the Game Warden over there this am and he said he'd like a little more ice before going out onto Boulder, course he may be running a 4 wheeler out there to check the fishermen too.  ;D

You had better take a heater LT, it was a cold one out there.  My buddy called me yesterday morning it was -18 in Cora,  those lakes shouldn't take long to freeze up now.

I was only there about 30 minutes, the auger would not start, great way to start the season.

Anybody been to Boulder in the last day or so?  I drove past the parking area where the county stops plowing but was too scared to go much further, only snow machine tracks.  Thinking about going tomorrow with the machine.  Any reports?
