Maybe a little more info would be helpful.

When?
Weekend or mid week?
How many?
How far from the border (Buffalo?) are you willing to travel?
In or close to a larger city or further out?
Just fishing or other activities also?
Type of accommodations (hotel/motel, cottage, lodge or on ice)?
With or without meals included?
Preferred types of fish?

With this type of info the members here may be more able to direct you to a place you will find enjoyable.

Good Luck: Rick

Hi REEL

Like woodsman and bellybuster said we could use some more info on what you are looking for. But off the top of my head I would say go to Lake Simcoe. Great pearch fishing!!! :thumbsup:A group of us from here in Ohio make a trip up every year and have a great time. If you would loke some more info drop me a PM.
I know we can't all stay here forever, so I want to write my words on the face of today. And then theyll paint it.  "Shannon Hoon"

If it's walleye you're after, take Simcoe off the list and head for Quinte.  If you like perch, you can do well on Simcoe...but I'm sure the Quinte guys will chime in on the perch fishing out that way...
The harder the better!

Nippising may be a bit far for you but there are top notch outfits up there where you can spend your whole stay on the ice. Prices are very reasonable too. Just google "nipissing, ice fishing"

REEL Deil - I've been going to Nipising for years and BellyBuster is right, alot of nice places. The fishing has been good over the years. I've had good luck w/ the Waltonian Inn.  I think last year it was a little over $600.00 cdn per person for 4 days 3 nights nice cabins.  Breakfast, lunch, dinner, transport to and from the shanties, bait, ect.  Good people and try hard to make your visit.  Plus they have a bar.  You park your car and don't have to drive so you can have a good time.

Just remember if you plan on going on a weekend there may not be many openings left at most places. Mid-week more options will be available.

Im a little late to chime in here, but Im going to have to vote for Quinte, you get monster eyes as well as monster perch, you may not see as many fish as you would on Simcoe, but you will like what  you see..
