I thinking of headng out to Petrie Thursday/ Friday.  Any one else going out.   Im guessing its still good ice.  Im think pannies and walters.

yep .. im headed out there Friday afternoon.
I was going yesterday .. but i had concerns about the ice.  With all the rain and the drops in temps we should be good to go easily by today.  Drop over and say hello, Im in the FT scout .. most likely in Crappy bay.

Nice little eye for sure.  I love those buckshots.  Accounted for most of my eyes out of Petrie last year.  Cant wait.  Just finished pulling everything out and blowing off the dust.  I'll let you know how it was.

yeah it's a nice walleye,  my rod snaped as soon as i set the hook.....man i was pi$$ed.  but i managed to hand line it in.

i caught the walleye on a forage minnow perch patern, 1/16th.   it hit hard!!!!


well i'm going back out this morning with tip-up2. and a  couple of my friends, will report today after our outing!!!

Well, I got out yesterday to C bay and started catching fish right away.  A couple did'nt make it back, and instead went home to the frier.  Got out in the afternoon for a few hours and managed double digits.  Enjoy

Thanks Don.  Yup, a couple just squeaked through.  4.5 inch finbore hole.  Small hole makes them look bigger.
