hows the ice on the bay?

Don't know for sure. We were up there a week ago and the ice was spotty. Waiting to hear from a buddy how it is after the weather the past week. Might be able to get out at Mud Creek or Geiger road. There were people fishing next to the breakwall in Caseville. Heard there is good ice in the canals on Sand Point

Franks is completely on the other side of the bay. I'd trust somebody local like Walsh's Gun and Tackle in Caseville. Just don't ask them if they are catching anything because according to them they always are.

Just talked to a friend that lives in the area and he says there is ice at mud creek as far as you can see. Theres been ice for two weeks now and he said it looks like the last big hole froze over. Should be great by Friday if they don't get a bunch of snow.

Cool link I think I've seen that before but couldn't remember the site. Is it ever not cloudy in Michigan?

I know it was sunny for a couple minutes between 12/5 and 12/10, however, MODIS was not transmitting images on those days. Figures

good temps the next few days will be good for the bay, I think the shipping is all done know.  I can't wait to get some new video posted.

Ice was good where we went. Lots and lots of snow. Hopefully some of it goes away Wednesday. Caught a few perch and some gills in the canals. Had fun thats all that matters to me

I see the bay ice did not blow out with the strong winds, we will see what the 19"+ of snow we got did to it.

Heard the snow was pushing it down pretty good in Caseville today. There aren't many people out in Wildfowl Bay I've been told. Heading up Christmas day and it doesn't look too good.
