kirkmans cove
« on: Dec 14, 2008, 08:40 PM »

anyone ever tried icefishing @ kirkmans cove in s.e. nebr.?
i know the water can be rather stained during the summer months
however i was hoping maybe the water would clear after iced over.
have fished mayberry, wolf-wildcat, burchard and ironhorse in the past
but the grass is always greener. you know what i mean ?
thanks,   fred

I plan on giving it a try this season, since it's fairly close to where I am. I'll report in when I do.

thanks don,
had been told that iron horse is scheduled for complete renovation this coming summer.
will miss our fall camping trips there. we always met so many nice people. catfishing WAS great.
