Went to school in Winona, it was before i really started ice fishing, but know there a lot of great spots on the River.  a lot fish the back waters and i caught some saugs on the river.  ask the local bait shops and they might assist you.

There is some pretty good fishing around Winona. Airport Lake (also called Bartlett Lake) is pretty good at times. I haven't fished Lake Winona lately, but as a kid I used to get a lot of fish out of there (no size to anything though).

Just a couple of places to get you started there. Good luck!
