Your go to fishing techniques

Just wondering what techniques you use when nothing else is working. Personally I love the yellow jig with a red and black eye tipped with a meal worm, and pounding it on the bottom to draw in fish. It usually produces but not 100% of the time.

Hali with a dropper tied on. Minnow on the hali hook. Grubs on the dropper. Blast the hali off the bottom a few times then wait. Normally not long on my local bodies any way. This year I'm going to try chumming for the pannies a lil bit. They say crushed egg shells fluttering to the bottom helps draw them in. Worth a shot.
