Well I did make it out to poison creek for a couple hours.  Not much to  brag about the fishing, but there was 6 inchs of ice out there.  A couple different people had 4 wheelers on the ice.  I also ran accoss the lake to 5 mile to check the ice and there was only about 2 1/2 inches on that side of the lake.  Not enough for this kid to go out on.

A buddy and I fished poison creek yesterday, and was pretty slow we caught five crappie one perch and a small ling.   All were caught jigging in nineteen feet.  The crappie were suspended at 13 feet.  Ice was about four too five inches.

We were at the bottom side of a drop off from ten too nineteen feet.   I have not much experience ice fishing if someone knew what they were doing they would probably do better than us.

I dont think there is any crappie in boysen that are old enough to rember posion creek. Its been along time since there was water there. There sure isnt any structure to bring them in. Must just be a good place for them to hang out.
