Where would you start?
« on: Dec 05, 2008, 11:17 PM »
Where would you start on this lake?  I'm going to be trying for northerns.  I was thinking  the emergent weeds on the SE shore, or the saddle between the two different areas, or maybe the point directly north of the access.  Just wondering what you guys would suggest.  Thanks in advance.

I think I like the big point that is directly across from the access. I'd punch holes till I found weeds and put one flag in the weeds and one just outside.
The best thing about ice fishing is that when you get on a good bite you don't have to worry about your beer getting warm!

if you can get to that 13ft hole where all the submerged vegetation is I would give that a try first.........if you have no luck there I would try the narrow spot between where the weedline edge and where it starts to drop off
