As a fisherman who likes to jig and use tip-ups at the same time, i think 3 lines is the perfect amount...that allows me to jig away for gills or perch while setting up at two depths for pike...Most Ontario Lakes are only 2 line lakes, one I fish is a single line lake...leave the tip-ups at home

 I know the 3 lines dosen't take effect untill April, what about the spearing being from dec thur march Does that start this year ? I heard it does I just wanna make sure. 5 tip ups in NY that would drive me nuts, cost too much for bait.

Hey mpriceless7, I'm trying to plan an ice fishing trip up to Hamlin in January.  I found a website for Clarks Castle Point Resort, but can't seem to reach anybody there. It says that they're open year round, but no one answers.  It seems like a great place and has what we need for about 10 guys.  I'd hate to book another place up there and miss out on a good resort.  Do you know anything about this place or any others on Hamlin?

I have never heard of that place, I will ask my boss tomorrow he lives on Hamlin. I know Country Haven, Heaven on Hamlin or North Bayou resort or Edgewater resort, are all on lower Hamlin.

Thanks for the link.  Been trying to nail this down for a week.  So many people think it's 3 lines already, after reading what I have on the forum for the past month, I've went round and round with them.
