3rd Annual Northeast/Northcentral Get together on Rose Valley set for Jan 31st!!

Well its that time of the year again!! I was hoping we could get a lake picked here soon so we don't have the controversy that we had last year. Just to let you new guys know where we had are gatherings the first two years the first was held on Beechwood and last years was held on Lake Jean. I am thinking that this years event will be held at Rose Valley. I will talk to the members that came last year and get there opinion.

what about hunters lake. 

I might come to either beacuase they both are great lakes to fish. 

had to work last year but this year might be different. 

the only thing with both of these lakes is that there is not much lodging for those guys who travel long distances.  the closest place for both of these lakes is williamsport for lodging.

Hi ya' marsh! Gettin' to be that time of year 
Hopefully we can have a couple of these things at different places over the course of the season. Glad to see an early start to something. I'd prefer RV, but what ever the majority prefers is fine with me. I do like the idea of a different lake each year.

I want to keep with a different lake each year I think that's a good idea that way we can draw different people.

How far is Williamsport from RV? Also last year there was a guy on here who had a cabin very close by that offered to have people stay over.

Lake Jean sounds great but it tends to be more north central and nothing wrong with that.  I would like to see something in the north east (pocono area) it could reach more people and more places to stay overnight (wallenpaupac areaa).  Last year there was a lot of talk of a Pac get together but I don't think it happened.

Yes thats about all they did talk talk and talk about how great there event was going to be and how ours was going to suck. Then they never even had one !!

Depending on the date, if I've found a job, and where that job is I'll try and be there.  A different lake every year sounds like a plan although Jean would make a good fall back lake in years with little and late ice.  I'm game for any lake with ICE!!   good fishin

Boy Rat, your harsh to Ronbo ,The man pulled you from the depths of the ever wild waters of lake Ham***** .   . I still can,t figure out how you managed to find the only spring in Tioga CO.

I might be interested in attending,  and please allow me to re-introduce myself, My Friends call me Bubba, I'm not new here, but havent been on since Jan of 08, Wife and kids have not allowed much time for computers. Things have seemed to work themselves out and I'm back, I look forward to speaking and meeting everyone.

who ever said the pac sucked was not in the right spot.  to fish the pac for anything you have to find the alwives.  if you find them you will catch lots of fish.  there are alot more bigger perch in the lake then most all lakes that i have fished in PA .  Im not saying that it has the biggest but it has the numbers.  my personal bests came from public lakes in north central pa.  16.25, 15.75, and numerous 15's and 14's. 

i think the best bet for the get together is RV with jean or hunters a close secod for backups.  I think all will have good ice.  the thing with hunters is that there is only two parking areas so everybody is gonna have to be together.  RV has parking all around the lake so people can spread out.

Anyone have a day they had in mind I was shooting for early Jan. As I have to be down in Washington D.C after the 15th.

Go figure, looks like I'm out of luck for making it this year.  I won't be back from Cyprus until the 11th of Janurary   Oh well, what can you do.....  Catch a couple for me.  good fishin
