Where is "round here"?  They aren't predicting anything above freezing for most of the state in the next 10 days.  Just hope for no snow!!

sure is only about 12 miles south east of alexandria...........l ake villard is not completely frozen that was a picture from a smaller lake..........the camper must be at Canary Beach Resort I would assume or is it the resort on the south side of the lake

Well, I have no idea what happened but that locked up Okabena lake in Worthington is now half open. Must have been enough open water somewhere along with the high wind to eat away half the ice. I guess being optimistic, we can say at least we know its almost there. And the weather still looks good?

Any of you minnesotians ever fish Okabena? It way down here in the Southwest. The DNR website says it has a good perch and Walleye Population. I plan on finding out if thats true. Never fished it myself so any information you locals may have would be helpful.

Thanks

Fannie had ice quite a way out, but that wind had the middle opened up and the hole getting bigger.

the existing ice should thicken up, not sure what will happen in the open water area's, unless the wind lets up.

nice work broken. How much ice? Are you speaking of the bay on Rush Lake as in the Rush Lake in Rush City? East Central MN?

Thanks

there was anywhere form 2 inches to 7 where the ice chunks from the open water froze sold last night. do you guys think the cruches then refroze over ice would be safe? it is like 7 inches thick
