sounds like a good idea though. esp. if you could get some from a few yellow perch. bet the trout would like it too.

I might have to try that this year. The whitefish bite seems to really pick up in March when the Bourbot are in shallow spawning. I was going to try it last year but a red wire worm was working good enough that I never got around to it

Never tried them but i would tink they may be to big? What we use are salted pickerel eggs, you can cut off a small piece for a really small hook #14 or 16, they are just like toffee nice and sticky and tehy last quite a while
Theres only 3 seasons..open water, hunting and icefishing!

never tried row bags   but like  fish finder said salted pickerel eggs work well . Just put them on the hook and set it on the bottom .
hook and cook

I'll caught whitefish on row sacks before.... not too big,, they actually love them and they stay together SSSOO Well compared the regular eggs on a hook.

Definetly worth the time to make them

Pikeral eggs are definetly my favorite bait for those suckers...

Don't listen to fish finder..... i've seen him in action with the whities (NO DICE)!!!  Have u pulled one from the hole yet???? ahahaha certainly not ever with me

Get outta that size 14-16 thats why yur not catchin em

Gamagatzu 8's and 10's and 12's is where it is....
