Wheres the stripper pole?
I've been fishing out of a 1968 Shasta LoweFlite.  Shes a fine unit.  Yours looks like a fish slayin machine also.

Make sure you bust a 40oz over her bow before you take her out!

I seem to drink more beer latley that Ive been working on it. I got the camper and didnt know what to do with it. I tossed it up for a while. When I set it up the mice had gotten to it so I knew I was going to do it. I worked on it last night building one of the walls. Maybe tamarrow I can get to work on it for a bit. I think we need to get our shacks out and give em a trail run! ;D Maybe a walmart parking lot? :woot:

I remember seeeing an ice shack in the Minnesota Metro area with over 40k invested in it.  They had it on the 10 aclock news.........They had a "pole" in it and everything else you could ever need.  The reporter asked the old coots what it was for and they basically gave a "no comment".

all the lights are in.
had to have tackle at easy reach.
this bench has a back rest that pulls out and sits in front of the bench, if you come in the door its to the right. If you want to fish just lift the panel up and put it in the seat for a back rest.

I seem to have that effect on people Bri!!!  Fishhead you are worse than those blonde tails that i catch once in awhile.... Hell, i've told ya 3000000 times that im coming ur way the weekend after opening day of rifle season..... I know ur excited, but just try to contain urself for a little while!

Mud his wife already knows about the shanty, i was talkin how she would react if he told her he was building a $15,000 ice shanty.....  I think shed pack her bags.

O yea, when i come ur way i expect all the "toys" to be locked up, and im taking the batteries out of your camera incase i fall "asleep" in the garage again! lol  IM surprised that those pictures havent made their way onto here yet...

Nice job lads,

I am starting the exact same project on Saturday morning with a 1970's Lionel tent trailer.

Any tips?
Anything you'd already do different?

I didnt rush anything, It allowed me to step back a think about the way it was going together. Just like know i was going to put lilnolum on the floor but after thinking about it I think Im going to use indoor/outdoor carpet. If you have any ?ions pm me.Id hate to bore everyone with how I put the panels up and fold them down. I can take more pics for you to.

The carpet (instead of linoleum) is great idea.  Gonna make it so you can easily remove it for drying?  That linoleum would be one slippery sucker with snow on it!.  Post the pics - I'd like to the set up/knock down process, as I'm sure others would.
Nice looking rig.  :)

Thanks, Im thinking of some of that grip tape like on skate boards.Putting that on the floor then putting the carpet on top of it. I started to think it could be a slippery situation,4 guys drinking beer, fishing poles, and a slick floor. Almosts sounds like the begining to a good fishing story! :woot:
